How to get help

How can Stirling and District Women's Aid help you?

We can help children and young people in different ways.

We can provide safe refuge accommodation for families leaving domestic abuse. This includes specialist support for children and young people, as well as for the mother.

Please see our accommodation section for more info on how to access refuge.

We also have a service to support children and young people with their experiences of domestic abuse because we know that sometimes it can help them to talk about how they are feeling with someone that they can trust.

A children's worker can come to their school to talk to them in private about how they are feeling. Sometimes this can feel like a relief or like a weight has been lifted off.

We take referrals directly from children and young people themselves, from family members and other agencies such as schools, social work, health visitors and other third sector organisations.

If you would like to refer yourself or someone else, please contact info@stirlingwomensaid.co.uk for a referral form or call our children and young people's support line on 01786 469518
