  • One in five women in Scotland experiences domestic abuse at some stage in her life
  • Domestic abuse can affect any woman regardless of race, class, age, religion, sexuality, ability, income, lifestyle or where she stays
  • 88% of crimes and offences of domestic abuse and 95% of crimes of indecency (mostly sexual assault) are perpetrated by men against women
  • There were 51,926 incidents of domestic abuse recorded by the police in Scotland in 2009-10
  • In 2009-2010 there were 3403 reported domestic abuse incident in Central Scotland Police Force
Stirling and District Women’s Aid aims to offer support, information and temporary accommodation for women and their children who have been physically, emotionally or sexually abused by a partner or former partner.

We provide refuge, information and support services for women, children and young people in the Stirlingshire area who are victims of domestic abuse.

We want you to be able to browse our website and learn of our support services without worry of an abusive or controlling partner tracking your online activities.
